Parental Consent Policy

1. Who Must Consent
Any student under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian provide consent and complete the purchase. Students who are 18 or older may complete checkout themselves.
2. Consent Process
When a student under 18 signs up, we collect the parent's name, email, and phone number. We send the parent an email with a secure link to a consent and purchase page. The parent reviews the plan, terms, refund policy, and acceptance disclaimer, then checks a box confirming: "I am the parent or legal guardian of this student. I have read the terms and I am purchasing this plan on their behalf." The parent then completes payment.
3. What We Record
We store the parent's name, email, IP address, the timestamp of consent, and the exact version of the terms they agreed to. This information is retained for seven years.
4. Account Activation
The student's account is only activated after the parent completes the consent and purchase process. Until then, the student cannot access the platform.
